The Cascadez are defenitely taking a break, but it seems very likely that a new band rising from the ruins of The
Cascadez! I can´t tell you much yet, but be warned. We´re gonna rock the world again sometime in the future!
By the way, The Cascadez had a short comeback a couple of weeks ago as we played two songs ("Sweet Lorraine" and
"Folsom Prison Blues" at a local show.).

We have a new bassplayer!! His name is Roar Wagenius and he is without doubt one of Norways best rock & roll bass
players! He was last seen and heard in vintage blues band Greasy Gravy, but has also a short stint in Teencats. We look
forward to play with Roar and welcomes him to The Cascadez!
We´re hangin´ on the 1st place at TOPP 8, and hope to do so for the remaining weeks (each song gets max. 12 weeks
on the list).
And last: Don´t forget to come and see us on the gig this Saturday! We´re playing at the US-car meet at Hunderfossen,
north of Lilehammer. PS! It´s Saturday 3rd June, not 6th as previously stated!!

A couple of gigs have been added to our tour scedule! We´ll have our "comeback-gig" at the US-car meet at
Hunderfossen north of Lillehammer 3 June. We haven´t played live in six months, so we´re really looking forward to this
gig!
26 August we´re planning a little festival in our hometown, with a few bands and lots of beer! More info later....

Damn, the last week has been busy!! We have shipped hundreds of CDs all over the world....and there´s lot of packages
to be shipped! It´s just crazy!
We climbed to 3rd place at NRK Hedmark and Opplands Topp 8 radio-list last week, but only made a 5th position at
Siljans Toppen at Radio Siljan. But the mainthing is that we´re getting airplay.
And after searching for a new bassplayer for several months a solution is in sight. I can´t give you any names yet, but
things look bright!

You can order the CD from us by sending us a mail.
We climbed up to 4. place on "Topp 8" this week. If you want to vote for us send "HOT 4" to 1987 or call during the
show next Thursday at 11am (you have to be in Norway to vote!).
Yesterday there was a whole page, the last page none the less, about me (Arild), The Cascadez and Rockaround

After falling to 9th place last we, we climbed up to 2nd place at Siljans Toppen this week! That means we need even
more help next week. We reaching for number 1! You can start voting Monday . By the way, we beat Lee Rocker,
which came in 4th.
We´re also a contender at "Top 8" at NRK Hedmark & Oppland with another song from the CD, "Sweet Lorraine".
You can vote (in Norway) by sending HOT 8 to 1987 (charge NOK 3,-), as many times as you can afford! If you live
in Hedmark or Oppland, you can hear the show next Thursday at 11pm.
I (Arild) did a short telephone interview on the show this morning.

There´s also a new gig in August. We´ll play for the Rock & Roll West organisation at their big annual cruising 19
August. This event usually draw around a thousand people, so we´re really looking forward to that!
